This design variation encloses the mast inside of the diaphragm. The design can be mounted from the ceiling of an auditorium. It could also be mounted on a proscenium arch or the edge of a stage.

Simplified Design

This is design for a subwoofer. Notice the compact design possible when the box is eliminated. Since the lowest frequencies are slower and wider a wider diaphragm may be used. Taller diaphragms, like the full range may also be used depending on your application.

Flat screen TV and computer displays are a natural application for Planot speakers. They could be mounted either on or in the bezel. Alternatively they could be mounted on the wall or table next to the screen.
